The cats

 Yes, our house is ruled by cats.

This is Griffin. He’s my own personal sweetie-pie cat. Look at that face, isn’t he adorable? He sheds like a maniac and galumphs around the house like a nitwit.

This is Mickey, short for McGregor. He’s J’s special cat, all the way. His specialties are squeaking pathetically, thundering around upstairs like a herd of elephants, and stomping on our throats at 4 am. He had the honor of appearing on the Infinite Cat Project!

And Stella. She’s a sweet-faced, tiny-footed plush little sausage who never seems to be warm enough. She likes to sit on stools and swat the boys as they walk by.
