in the garden: muscari
The grape hyacinths are blooming! They really are invasive, but they carpet large swathes of the garden in bright blue, and they’re pretty easy to pull out if necessary.

This picture is so beautiful and is making me believe (if only a LITTLE bit) that spring is around the corner (too bad the temp here in NYC is telling me differently!
